Snack time at Suanprung

Today when we visited the Suanprung psychiatric hospital we were greeted warmly and after learning about their goals for safety and efficacy we were given a tasty snack. First was carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.

Then we got a brownie with a cup of hot chocolate. We were told that there were herbal extracts in the baked goods, but when I ate it I had no idea that they were in there.

We were told it was a herbal extract made by the pharmacist's mother and is good for the brain. It contains rosemary and some other herbs that the pharmacist didn't know the English name for. They were both delicious and the hot chocolate capped off our morning snack perfectly. Later on we learned that there were other baked goods that they make with the same extracts added available for purchase in their coffee shop.
