We visited Nakornping Hospital, a 500 bed hospital, in Chiang Mai. We were able to tour the inpatient pharmacy, outpatient pharmacy, and hospital wards. While in the outpatient pharmacy, students were able to observe a patient packing their own HIV medication into daily packets for easy administration. Allowing the patient to package their own medication allows the patient to have a better grasp on why they are on their medications.
