Lauren Brzozowski: Student spotlight

The opportunity to complete a clinical pharmacy rotation in Thailand is something I will forever be thankful for. This extraordinary experience has allowed me to learn about the Thai healthcare system, shadow hospital pharmacists who specialize in a variety of different disease states and learn how different community pharmacy can be in another country, all while also learning about the Thai culture. Visiting patients at their homes with the community pharmacist has been my favorite experience so far as it was truly unique and eye opening. Learning from these patient interactions has broadened my patient care skill set, helping me to continue growing as a future pharmacist.
