Kimberly Han: Student spotlight

My experience in Thailand thus far has been exceptional!  Coming to Thailand, I wanted to learn about the blend of western and eastern (or traditional) medicine.  Since visiting the country, I have found that pharmacy practice and the services that clinical pharmacists offer are similar to those found in the US.  One takeaway that I’d like to incorporate in practice in the US is the seamless workflow and interdisciplinary teamwork that is ubiquitous in Thai healthcare.  The cultural experiences I’ve had have been one-of-a-kind and provide a unique perspective of the Thai health care system.
